Donald Faison Mourns Death of Ex-Wife with a Touching Tribute
With iconic roles in Scrubs and Clueless, we’re used to Donald Faison bringing us so much laughter.
But today, Donald is bringing the tears.
Seriously, this will very likely break your heart.
Because while Donald is happily married to CaCee Cobb these days, she wasn’t his first wife.
In 2001, he married a woman named Lisa Askey, who was a nursing student when they met. They were married for four years, and in that time, they had three children — twins Dade and Kaya, and a son named Kobe.
Unfortunately, Lisa passed away this week.
We don’t yet know what happened, but we do know that Donald and his children are mourning her death … and that they’re moving us to tears.
Donald posted this photo, originally posted by his son Dade (we’re assuming these are the hands of Dade and his mother), and his caption was absolutely heartbreaking.
“My son Dade is very brave,” he wrote. “Today he and his brother Kobe and sister Kaya lost their mother. Lisa Askey Faison.”
“She and I never really saw eye to eye,” he admitted, “but one thing we did share was our love for our children. RIP Lisa. You raised three beautiful children into fine adults and I am forever grateful for that.”
“May god bless your soul with light and love.”
Donald also shared his son’s original tribute, which read “I just wanted to say thank you so much mom! You have been there for me when I needed you most.”
“I can’t believe it has come to this but I know you are in a better place right now. I love you with all my heart and one day we shall meet again.”
“You worked so hard and never gave up no matter how hard times got. R.I.P. mom and until next time!” he finished.
Donald and Lisa’s twins, Dade and Kaya, just turned 18, but their younger son, Kobe, is only 16 years old.
Donald is a very active father, and obviously a very caring father, so we’re sure he’ll be helping his children through what has to be a rough time.
Our condolences to the whole family … they clearly lost a very special woman.

Tarek El Moussa: Did He Really Hire a Private Investigator to Track Ex-Wife?
Tarek El Moussa was recently spotted out in public with estranged wife Christina El Moussa for the first time since he filed for divorce.
The hosts of Flip or Flop on HGTV were reunited on Friday at the 2017 Investor Summit in Las Vegas, standing on stage and posing with smiles plastered across their faces.
All seemed calm between the former couple, who separated last May, yet who remain both the parents of two small kids and the co-leads on a hit cable show.
But don’t let Tarek’s happy mug or his Instagram caption fool you.
“Me and #christina on the #big #stage having #fun and teaching folks how to #flip #houses!!” Tarek wrote along with the photo below of the pair on stage.
Ignoring El Moussa’s untamed, ridiculous use of hashtags in that caption, we’re here to focus on the dark past that hangs over this once-happy couple.
Tarek and Christina split last spring after an explosive fight.
It remains unclear just what led to the harsh words that were exchanged, but Tarek stormed out of his house afterward with a gun in hand, headed for the woods.
After Christina called the cops, Tarek explained that he simply feared for his safety among the animals outside.
The stars quietly went their separate ways at the time, but word of what happened leaked online a few months later, prompting the home renovation experts to publicly acknowledge their separation.
Fair enough.
No big deal.
Plenty of marriages fall apart.
But new reports have shined a damaging light on Tarek, with one tabloid actually claiming he used to threaten to rape Christina.
Like, a lot.
“He actually joked about raping Christina on more than one occasion,” a source told Life & Style last month of how Tarek would act on set.
“Tarek thinks it’s funny,” this witness claimed.
Now, In Touch Weekly is adding fuel to this scandalous fire by detailing another controversial action Tarek supposedly took against Christina.
“When he and Christina were on the rocks, he confessed to the production crew that he suspected she was dating someone, so he hired a private investigator to follow her,” says a source, adding:
“He wanted to know where she was going and what she was doing.”
The magazine writes that Tarek feared Christina was dating Gary Anderson, the family contractor who Tarek knew pretty well.
And she actually is dating Gary Anderson, but has been pretty out in the open about it and we haven’t heard much chatter about Christina actually cheating on Tarek with this guy.
Remember: the El Moussas separated many months ago and Tarek has since admitted to dating other women after the split.
“It’s hard for Tarek to see Christina dating, but it’s even worse that Gary is the guy she’s with,” In Touch adds. “It stings, and Christina knows it. Tarek is incredibly jealous and filled with rage.”
Yikes. That sounds like a dangerous recipe.
Thus far, neither Tarek nor Christina has made any disparaging remarks about the other in public.
They are parents to a six-year old girl named Taylor and a 17-month old son named Brayden and do seem committed to raising the kids in a friendly environment.
Moreover, they need to keep filming new Flip or Flop episodes together, as their contract requires Tarek and Christina to finish out the current season.
After that, however, they are free to pursue other professional options; rumors have said that Christina is interested in her own spinoff.

Jared Fogle: Ex-Wife Speaks Out, Details Worst Year of Her Life
The ex-wife of convicted sex offender Jared Fogle has opened up in a new interview with CBS This Morning.
In a sit-down with the news outlet, Katie McLaughlin says she had no idea that the man who fathered her two children was a pedophile.
She found out in the most dramatic, stunning way possible.
“You could look up every word in a dictionary or thesaurus for ‘horrible’ and none of them describe what this year has been like,” McLaughlin told Anna Werner.
She was married to Fogle for five years and is the mother of a five-year old and a three-year old she had with Fogle.
When did she know that Fogle was in trouble with the law? When did she learn about the heinous allegations against him?
When FBI agents knocked on the door of her home in July of last year, that’s when.
“I knew nothing about his involvement in anything. … They just walk in and you’re just in shock,” she says.
“I didn’t understand any of it to be honest. I mean, you just – you float out of yourself because the FBI shouldn’t be in your house.”
Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson, was sentenced to 15 years behind bars in November for ogling photos of underage children online and for soliciting sex from them.
In a new lawsuit filed against Subway by McLaughlin, she claims that the fast food chain was aware of Fogle’s illegal and disgusting activities while Fogle worked for it.
“As early as 2004, Subway’s then Senior Vice President of Marketing received a complaint that Jared had approached a young girl at a promotional event for a Las Vegas Subway franchise for a sex act,” reads a portion of the legal document, obtained by Radar Online.
It continues:
“Subway exploited his family despite knowing of allegations that Jared was a pedophile and failing to properly investigate those allegations.”
As part of this lawsuit, it came out that Fogle allegedly had sex with girls as young as nine years old.
Yes, nine years old.
A professor at the University of Ottawa in Canada who studied the ex-Subway spokesperson testified that his conclusion was Fogle suffered from mild pedophilia, hypersexuality and alcohol abuse and dependency, according to the Associated Press.
“I can’t even think about him at this point in my life,” McLaughlin told CBS when asked if she still loves the father of her kids.
“Of course there is anger there … he had two lives going on. He was home with the kids and I in one life, and he was out on the road in a different life. … He was able to keep them very separate in a way I can’t even fathom.”
Concluded McLaughlin in this interview:
“[He ruined] my ability to trust, my ability to think that things will be OK.
“I think I was always a pretty happy person who thought if everyone puts in their hard work, things will end up OK. And now I’m not so sure about that.”

Jon Gosselin Still Hates Ex-Wife Kate: "I"m Not Afraid To Say Anything"
Ah, Jon Gosselin. How the might, Ed Hardy-clad have fallen.
The former reality star gave an interview to Yahoo! this week about the state of his family affairs, and it ain’t good.
Jon claims he hasn’t seen 12-year-old son, Collin in a year-and-a-half, something he blames on Kate, who filed for divorce seven years ago yesterday.
“I can’t do anything,” he complained.
“It’s unfair of her to do that, considering she claims that she does her best for all my kids. Dah, dah, dah, drama. ‘I’m perfect.’
“No one’s perfect, honey. Trust me.”
Since he’s not legally bound by TLC to keep his mouth shut about the broken relationship with his family, Jon is ready to drop some truth bombs.
“Now all the secrets are coming out because I’m not afraid to say anything,” he said.
When people asked him, “how come you only get four kids [at a time]?” Jon claims he gets “whoever comes through that gate or gets off that [school] bus is who I get.
“And Collin is home-schooled, so he doesn’t get off a bus.”
Ah, now we understand the year-and-a-half time-out between father and son. This guy’s like the poor man’s Tom Cruise.
“If the kids want to come, they come,” he continued.
“I love them all, but I am going to focus on the ones that want to come. My hands are tied.”
As for fighting for a better custody arrangement, Jon has something to say to the critics.
“People are always like, ‘Oh, I would fight so hard [for a better custody arrangement].’
“I’m like, ‘Honey, you don’t have the money to fight that hard. Do you know how expensive court is? You have no idea."”
Jon explained that he files all the paperwork himself, then submits to a law firm to make sure everything is filled out correct.
“I have to pay for that,” he said
“And pay all the court fees in the hopes that you’ll get something out of it. I’ve been going to court for seven years now.
“Unless you can arbitrate out of it and have a working relationship with the other parent, you’re going to spend a lot of money.”
When Kate Plus 8 is filming, no one updates Jon on his family’s whereabouts.
“She pulls custody BS, like, ‘Oh, you don’t have custody this week. We’re filming,"” he said.
“But she won’t tell me where they’re filming.”
In times like these, Jon, you must ask yourself what your old friend, Michael Lohan would do.

Omar Mateen"s Ex-Wife Describes Shooter"s Gay Tendencies, Rage
Was Omar Mateen gay? The ex-wife of the Orlando nightclub shooter and her fiance certainly don"t seem shocked by that recent assertion.
In the wake of shocking claims about the gunman"s sexuality, Sitora Yusufiy made comments of her own in an interview that back them up.
Yusufiy, who was married to Mateen in 2009 for four months, and Marco Dias, to whom she is now engaged, sat down with SBT Brazil TV.
There, she opened up about her ex-husband’s alleged past.
Speaking in Portuguese on Yusufiy’s behalf, Dias stated that his fiancée believed that Omar Mateen exhibited “homosexual tendencies.”
He also claimed that the killer, who shot 49 people dead in an LGBT club on Sunday, was derided as gay in front of her by his father.
Yusufiy previously called Mateen abusive and unstable.
"When we had gotten married, he confessed to me about his past that was recent at that time," she recalls.
"He very much enjoyed going to clubs and the nightlife and there was a lot of pictures of him,” she explained.
“I feel like it’s a side of him or a part of him that he lived but probably didn’t want everybody to know about.”
When asked if she believed Mateen was gay, Yusufiy responded, “I don’t know," but implicitly commented that it was possible, even likely.
"He never personally or even physically made any indication while we were together of that, but he did feel very strongly about homosexuality.”
As reported earlier, patrons at Pulse nightclub, where he committed the worst shooting in U.S. history, believe they saw Mateen there regularly.
One customer recalled to the Orlando Sentinel:
“Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent.”
“We didn’t really talk to him a lot, but I remember him saying things about his dad at times. He told us he had a wife and child.”
One of the gunman’s former classmates also opened up about his alleged homosexuality, saying he once asked him out “romantically.”

Orlando Shooter Ex-Wife: He Was Unstable, Used to Beat Me
Last night, Omar Mateen allegedly entered a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla. and opened fire, killing 50 people and injuring at least 53 more in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
Orlando police later shot the suspect. He was 29.
While police continue to investigate, Mateen’s ex-wife tells The Washington Post that he was unstable and violent.
“He was not a stable person,” said the ex-wife, who chose to remain anonymous out of safety concerns.
“He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.”
She revealed that they had met online and got married in 2009. They moved into a two-bedroom condo in Fort Pierce, Fla., owned by Mateen’s family.
“He seemed like a normal human being,” she said, noting that he was not religious at the time and she knew of no connection to radical Islam.
She confirmed that Mateen was born to Afghan parents but was born in New York.
The ex-wife said she finally escaped the marriage when her parents learned of Mateen’s assaults on her.
They flew to Fort Pierce and pulled her out of the home, leaving her belongings behind.
“They literally saved my life,” she said.
The ex-wife added she never spoke with Mateen after that. The two were officially divorced in 2011.
President Obama has referred to the tragedy as “an act of terror and an act of hate.”
Speaking to NBC News, Mateen’s father, Mir Seddique, said his son’s crime “has nothing to do with religion,” indicating that it was motivated by hate.
He explained that Mateen became enraged two months prior after seeing two men kissing in Miami and believes the incident may have prompted his heinous actions.
“We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident,” Seddique said. “We weren’t aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country.”

Johnny Depp Ex-Wife on Abuse Allegations: Amber Heard is Lying!!
This week, Johnny Depp was accused of some pretty despicable crimes by his estranged wife Amber Heard.
The actress claimed he abused her numerous times, leading her to file for divorce and obtain a restraining order against Depp.
But Depp’s first wife, Lori Anne Allison, has now come forward to defend her ex-husband.
Allison, who wed Depp when he was 20 and stayed married to him from 1983 to 1985, claimed he was a “soft person” who never laid a hand on her, according to TMZ.
She remembers the kind manner in which he treated animals, claiming he was more affectionate with his dog than many folks are with their children.
Allison tells friends she doesn’t believe Heard’s accusations.
Though their two-year marriage ended years ago, Allison and Depp remain friends and she reportedly offered her condolences last week upon hearing about the death of her ex’s mother.
While Allison refuses to believe her ex-husband is capable of domestic abuse, much can happen in 30 years.
Heard has claimed that Depp’s use of cocaine and alcohol led him to become violent and aggressive.
In a statement to the court, she said Depp was “barely ever sober” and revealed disturbing details about the alleged abuse, which made her fear for her life.
During one particularly brutal episode, she claimed Depp hurled a “magnum size bottle of champagne at the wall and a wine glass” on her and on the floor.
“Johnny then grabbed me by the shoulders and pushed me onto the bed, blocking the bedroom door,” she continued.
“He then grabbed me by the hair and violently shoved me to the floor.”
Depp has not commented since Heard’s allegations became public, but the day prior his rep issued a statement, saying he “will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.”

Kim Mathers: Eminem"s Ex-Wife Opens Up About Suicide Attempt
Early in his career, Eminem made a name for himself by rapping about his love of drugs and self-destructive behavior.
The rapper (real name, Marshall Mathers) has been sober for several years now, and has admitted that his drug use nearly killed him on more than one occasion.
Sadly, many in his inner circle have not found it so easy leave their dangerous habits in the past.
Back in January, Mathers" former sister-in-law (and mother to his adopted daughter) Dawn Scott died from a heroin overdose at the age of 40.
Now, his ex-wife (and mother of his other daughter), Kim Mathers, is struggling once again with the demons that nearly claimed her life several years ago.
After learning that a pair of popular Detroit radio DJs had accused her of receiving preferential treatment following a car accident last year, Mathers called in to make a shocking confession.
Live on the air, Mathers revealed that the accident was actually a suicide attempt, and police had sealed the records out of deference to her mental health struggles.
"There are things that go on in people"s lives, and just because people think we have money that it makes us happy," Kim said.
"Yeah, I can pay bills. Yeah, I can get my kids whatever they want…But you lose friends. You lose family. You no one to trust, to even talk to about personal matters. That"s hard.
"Yes, I drank, I took pills, and I hit the gas and aimed for a poll."
Kim goes on to tell the DJs and their audience that she was admitted to first responders on the scene that the crash was a suicide attempt.
As such, she was not arrested, but ordered to seek psychiatric counseling, which she has since done.
Needless to say, the radio hosts sound a bit sheepish after being so publicly put in their place.

Phil Collins to Re-Marry Third Ex-Wife, Orianne Cevey
Their 2008 divorce cost him $ 46.76 million, but it’s all good because true love conquers all.
Phil Collins and his third ex-wife, Orianne Cevey are officially back together, and will probably throw a second wedding.
“Our separation was the wrong decision,” Cevey told Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick.
“I now call Phil my husband again. We are so close that it does not actually make a difference if we are married or not, but we are determined to get married for a second time one day.”
The couple reconciled in 2015, when Cevey was left partially paralized following complications from surgery on a slipped disc.
“We were always very close, because of the children… just last year, I realised that he is indeed the man of my life,” Cevey added.
“I spent four months in hospital, and he took wonderful care of Matthew and Nicholas [the couple’s two sons]. That was a great relief to me… we are meant for each other.”
Collins confirmed the news to Billboard Magazine last month in New York.
“We went back because we realised we had made a mistake,” Collins explained.
“A lot of people don’t have that chance, or don’t give themselves that chance. Our young sons Matthew and Nicholas are like a dog with two tails. I mean, they’re just so happy.
“They’ve got their mum and dad back together, so it’s a good place to be at the moment.”
Collins has three other children – Lily Collins, 26, Simon, 39, and Joely, 43, from two previous marriages.

Sugar Bear to Mama June: I Had Truck Sex with My Ex-Wife!
Earlier this week we learned that Mike Thompson, aka “Sugar Bear,” admitted to dabbling sexually with men in the past, and now he’s just letting all the cats out of the bag.
In a preview clip of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars obtained by Radar Online, he revealed three more sexual dalliances, including one with his ex-wife.
As far as we know, these were all with women.
Still reeling from the news of Sugar Bear’s same-sex experimentation, his lady love Mama June Shannon was still feeling her female intuition poking away at her.
“I feel like there may be more,” she told Sugar. “Whether it’s going to kill me or make me better, I want you to be completely honest.”
Sugar Bear unburdened his soul and admitted to having sex with another unnamed woman – but was quick to point out that SHE seduced HIM. Twice.
*Shudder*.
He then spilled the beans about having sex in a truck with his ex-wife by first uttering a series of nonsensical sounds, then said:
“I stopped there, but I didn’t get out of the truck. One time!”
I guess that means they only engaged in relations once, not twice like with the other seductress.
Lastly, he said he tried to have sex with a girl in a motel, but his plans went awry.
“I did not sleep with her,” he proudly declares. “When I got there she says, I was not what she was wantin’.”
However, when asked if he would’ve slept with her had she be willing, he says he probably would have.
Mama June, obviously upset, said her gut knew it all along.
“Okay now the ones I was telling you that you was doing, you’re telling me, I’m right,” she tells him.
“Yep, you were right,” he said (we think).
Now that Sug has come clean and Mama June knows the truth, can they move on to enjoy a happy, healthy partnership between trusted souls?
That tidbit is still to be determined.
And if you feel anything like I do right about now, you probably have a strong urge to take a shower.

Scott Weiland"s Ex-wife Pens Heartbreaking Open Letter
“December 3rd, 2015 is not the day Scott Weiland died,” Mary Fosberg writes.
“It is the official day the public will use to mourn him, and it was the last day he could be propped up in front of a microphone for the financial benefit or enjoyment of others.”
Fosberg is Weiland’s ex-wife and mother of his two children, Noah, 15 and Lucy, 13. The couple married in 2000, and split up seven years later.
In an open letter to fans (published on RollingStone.com), Fosberg asked that Weiland’s death not be “glorified.”
The Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman died of cardiac arrest on his tour bus in Minnesota. Police also found small amounts of cocaine in his room.
In the letter, Fosberg criticized those who called Weiland’s behavior – which involved forgetting lyrics and falling on stage – “art” rather than a cry for help. She also wrote about how that affectd his ability to be any kind of father to their children.
“The truth is, like so many other kids, they [Noah and Lucy] lost their father years ago. What they truly lost on December 3rd was hope.
“We are angry and sad about this loss, but we are most devastated that he chose to give up,” Fosberg continued, urging adults to be a positive part of a child’s life.
“I don’t share this with you to cast judgment, I do so because you most likely know at least one child in the same shoes.
“If you do, please acknowledge them and their experience. Offer to accompany them to the father-daughter dance, or teach them to throw a football.
“Even the bravest girl or boy will refrain from asking for something like that; they may be ashamed, or not want to inconvenience you. Just offer – or even insist if you have to.”
Fosberg ended the letter with a plea to face addiction rather than bury it.
“Let’s choose to make this the first time we don’t glorify this tragedy with talk of rock and roll and the demons that, by the way, don’t have to come with it.”
