Michael Jackson Said WHAT About Prince?! Read His Scathing Comments

Fans have compared Michael Jackson and Prince on numerous occasions, and it’s easy to see the similarities between the two stars.

Both singers were eccentric, top-of-the-charts pop icons who rose to fame in the 80s with oft-controversial lyrics and always-stupefying dance moves.

But the two were hardly friends, we’ve now learned.

New recordings uncovered by The Mirror reveal some harsh words Jackson had for Prince 30 years ago.

“I don’t like to be compared to Prince at all,” the Thriller singer said in the tapes.

He went on:

“I have proven myself since I was real little. It’s not fair. He feels like I’m his opponent.

“I hope he changes because boy, he’s gonna get hurt. He’s the type that might commit suicide or something.”

Jackson also called his rival “rude,” “mean” and “nasty,” although he does not elaborate on any specific incidents between the two. 

“He was so rude, one of rudest people I have ever met,” he said. “Prince is very competitive. He has been very mean and nasty to my family.”

Unbelievably, the King of Pop made fun of Prince when he stumbled into the crowd onstage at a 1983 James Brown tribute show after he mistook a paper mache lamp post for a real one.

“He made a fool of himself. He was a joke,” Jackson mocked. “People were running and screaming. I was so embarrassed. It was all on video.”

Jackson, who had been in the public eye since he was a child, claimed that Prince was “starstruck” when they first met, but the Purple One shifted his attitude once he found fame himself.

Despite their differences, the two music legends unfortunately share one more similarity: both their deaths were caused by an overdose to physician-prescribed medication.

Toxicology results indicated that Prince died of an opioid overdose this year, assumed to be Percoset, which he was reportedly taking for hip pain.

Jackson’s death was attributed to a lethal dose of the sedative Propofol, administered by his doctor, Conrad Murray. 

Even stranger, Jackson named his third child Prince Michael Jackson, born in 2002.

Kailyn Lowry Regrets Divorce From Javi Marroquin: Read The Tweet

Few public relationships are harder to make sense of than Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin’s.

The former Teen Mom 2 couple are going through a divorce after four years of marriage, and it all unfolded on national television.

Lowry and Marroquin, who was deployed overseas for a time with the Air Force, have really only communicated indirectly with one another via cryptic tweets about broken hearts, starting over, going through changes, etc.

Over the weekend, Lowry wrote a tweet that may indicate her regret over deciding to proceed with the divorce.

“If your child’s father wants to be there, let him be there. Took me a while but I learned that too,” she wrote.

During the Teen Mom 2 reunion on June 20th, Marroquin admitted that she “blamed” Lowry for a miscarriage, which did severe damage to their relationship.

Lowry told Dr. Drew that her estranged husband was “not helpful, not sympathetic.” 

Marroquin tried to defend himself.

“In my mind, I knew it wasn’t her fault. I was just hurt, and I took it out on her — that was my mistake. That’s where our marriage kinda started going downhill,” he explained.

Though nothing is written in stone, Marroquin said he wants to save what he and Lowry have.

“[Isaac is] my best friend. I want to be in this marriage,” he said.

“I want all of us to be together. But her mind is set, and when her mind is set, there’s no changing it.”

Lowry has entered a new phase of her life that has allowed her to see things with an open mind.

And perhaps, unlike several Teen Moms, she’s ready to give living alone a try.

“I think it’s hard to think of the fact that maybe I could be happier without him,” she said.

“It’s a really hard pill to swallow.”

James Van Der Beek Mourns Co-Star Ron Lester After Death: Read His Touching Tweet

Earlier today, we received the sad news that Varsity Blues star Ron Lester had died in a Dallas hospital.

He was just 45 years old.

Lester was best known for his turn as the loveable offensive linesman “Billy Bob” in the 90s football film, also starring James Van Der Beek.

Van Der Beek took to Twitter today to honor his late friend.

“Sad day… #RonLester was a sensitive soul with a huge heart,” he wrote. “Everything you loved about Billy Bob was authentically Ron. #RIP bud.”  

“I’ll never forget how committed #RonLester was on every take – even when the camera wasn’t on him… #giving #rare,” he added in a second tweet.

Below is a photo of Lester and Van Der Beek along with Varsity Blues cast mates Scott Caan, Jon Voight, Eliel Swinton and the late Paul Walker.

Lester had been in declining health of late, experiencing problems with his liver, kidneys and heart.

He had been in the hospital for four months before his passing.

Lester’s agent, Dave Bradley, announced that the actor had been taken off life support Friday and died peacefully.

Known in part for his size, Lester had at one point topped more than 500 pounds, but lost 350 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2001.

Lester also had memorable roles in Not Yet Another Teen Movie, Freaks and Geeks and Popular.

He will be missed.

Father of Stanford Rapist Minimizes Son"s Actions: Read His Statement

On June 2, Brock Turner – a swimmer from Stanford University – was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman near a dumpster.

His sentence of just six months in jail, followed by three months of probation, was seen as a slap on the wrist to many. It has stirred up an Internet storm.

The judge ruled that a longer sentence would have done the 20-year old more harm than necessary, despite actions most believe to have been unconscionable. 

There has been outrage on social media about the whole thing and now Turner’s father, Dan, has only added fuel to the fire. A lot of fuel to the fire. 

In a statement, he compared his son’s assault on the woman to “20 minutes of action” for which his child should not be punished with any jail time.

This case has gone viral because the brave victim at the center of it stood in front of the judge last week and read a moving letter, directing her anger, pain, bitterness and shock to Turner and everyone in court.

In instances like this, you expect the parents to be releasing an apology for bringing the offender into this world… but it appears Brock’s father is just as deluded as him.

“His life will never be the one that he dreamed about and worked so hard to achieve,” Turner wrote.

“That is a steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action out of his 20-plus years of life.”

The whole thing is pretty disgusting. 

He then went on to speak about how his son has lost his appetite nowadays. He also blamed the incident on “binge drinking” and “promiscuity.”

It’s truly disgusting all around.

As a quick refresher:

On January 18, 2015, two students found Brock on top of the unconscious woman. They even tackled him when he tried to flee.

Evidence pointed to Turner shoving his fingers inside the woman, along with pine needles and other objects.

His attorney tried to argue in court that the sex was consensual and that Turner asked for permission every step of the way.

But a jury saw right through this defense. They found him guilty on multiple counts of rape.

Yes, rape. Someone might want to explain what that term means to Mr. Turner.

Christian Rock Star Comes Out as Gay: Read His Moving Letter!

Trey Pearson is a Christian. And he’s a rock star. And he’s gay.

Growing up in a religious family, he tried to deny his sexuality his entire life, but Pearson has finally come to terms with who he is.

The front man for rock band Everyday Sunday has just come out, and is opening up about his journey in a heartfelt letter.

“I finally decided to come out because I couldn’t keep trying to be something that I wasn’t,” he told Religion News Service.

He shared that he grew up believing that being gay was a choice, so he followed a straight lifestyle thinking it was the right thing to do.

“I never wanted to be gay,” he told (614) Magazine. “I was scared of what God would think and what all of these people I loved would think about me; so it was never an option for me.”

He wound up marrying a woman and having two children with her, but recently realized he “was never going to be who my wife needed me to be.”

He recently wrote a letter to fans, explaining his decision to come out:

“These last several months have been the hardest – but have also ended up being the most freeing months — of my life.

“To make an extremely long story short, I have come to be able to admit to myself, and to my family, that I am gay.

“I grew up in a very conservative Christian home where I was taught that my sexual orientation was a matter of choice, and had put all my faith into that. I had never before admitted to myself that I was gay, let alone to anyone else. I never wanted to be gay.

I was scared of what God would think and what all of these people I loved would think about me; so it never was an option for me. I have been suppressing these attractions and feelings since adolescence. I’ve tried my whole life to be straight. I married a girl, and I even have two beautiful little kids. “I had always romanticized the idea of falling in love with a woman; and having a family had always been my dream. In many ways, that dream has come true. But I have also come to realize a lot of time has passed in my life pushing away, blocking out and not dealing with real feelings going on inside of me.

I have tried not to be gay for more than 20 years of my life. I found so much comfort as a teen in 1 Samuel 18-20 and the intimacy of Jonathan and David. I thought and hoped that such male intimacy could fulfill that void I felt in my desire for male companionship. I always thought if I could find these intimate friendships, then that would be enough.”

He goes on to explain that he thought once he was married, everything would fall into place. He committed himself to his wife and family, but he eventually realized he was living a lie, and it wasn’t fair to his loved ones.

“I am never going to be able to change how I am, and no matter how healthy our relationship becomes, it’s never going to change what I know deep down: that I am gay.”

He is grateful for his wife for being supportive throughout the process, and hopes that fans will still love and accept him.

“I hope people will hear my heart, and that I will still be loved. I’m still the same guy, with the same heart, who wants to love God and love people with everything I have.”

Sara Ramirez is Leaving Grey"s Anatomy: Read Her Statement

On Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 Episode 24, nearly every character wrapped up the season in a happy state.

Moreover, there were no shooting or natural disasters or plane crashes or major deaths of any kind.

Still… there was one development on Thursday night that was even more surprising than the lack of a crazy finale from Shonda Rhimes:

Sara Ramirez has left the series.

This is not actually a significant shock to anyone who follows the actress on Twitter.

In late April, Ramirez Tweeted her gratitude for having played the role of Callie Torres for 10 seasons, writing on Twitter:

“That’s a wrap for Doctor #CallieTorres #Season13 #GreysAnatomy #ThankYou all for an enriching & unforgettable #Rollercoaster ride!”

With Ramirez’s contract due to expire this summer, many believed this was either a negotiating ploy for a better deal or a fond farewell.

Following the conclusion of Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 last night, we know now it to have been the latter.

“I’m deeply grateful to have spent the last 10 years with my family at Grey’s Anatomy and ABC, but for now, I’m taking some welcome time off,” Ramirez said in a statement.

“[Series creator] Shonda [Rhimes has] been so incredible to work for, and we will definitely continue our conversations.

“I send my love to Ellen [Pompeo], the rest of the cast and crew, and I look forward to always being a part of the Shondaland family!”

Callie did at least get a satisfying ending.

After weeks of fighting with Arizona over the custody of their daughter, she was surprised when her ex-wife decided that they could work out an arrangement that would enable Callie to move to New York and still see Sophia on a semi-regular basis.

Ramirez becomes just the latest key Grey’s Anatomy cast member to leave the show, but she does so under far less acrimonious circumstances than Katherine Heigl, Isaiah Washington or Patrick Dempsey.

The latter’s beloved McDreamy was hit by a truck and killed off last season.

Wrote Rhimes in a glowing statement of her own:

“Dr. Callie Torres came into our lives dancing it out in her underwear almost a decade ago, and I could not be happier or more proud of her journey.

“Sara Ramirez’s performance inspired me as well as millions of fans each week. We wish her the best on her well-deserved time off. I will miss Callie tremendously but am excited for what the future holds for Sara.

“She will always have a home at Shondaland.”

Kendall Jenner Denies Paparazzi Punch: Read Her Statement

Kendall Jenner is fighting back against a rumor that categorizes her as… well… a fighter.

According a report from earlier this month, the model actually went all Justin Bieber on a member of the paparazzi a few weeks ago, punching him in the face after a night spent partying.

Photos surfaced of the alleged incident, but Kendall insists they did not tell the complete story.

Or really any accurate story at all.

“Even though you know about my anger towards the paparazzi – I didn’t touch him!” Kendall has written on her official website in response to the punching allegation.

Continues the 20-year old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, by way of explanation, saying that she was covering her face after an evening out with Gigi Hadid:

“I was super sweaty after dancing in the club all night (the last thing on earth I wanted was to have my photo taken at that moment!)…

” All of a sudden, this paparazzi took his camera and started taking pictures right below my face. It was in my personal space, like centimeters from my body.

“I was so annoyed. All I ask for is just a bubble of space to breathe, and he disrespected that.”

Jenner says she grabbed his camera “and pushed it away across my body, sort of trying to push and pull it out of his hand at the same time.” 

So there was contact made, Kendall has acknowledged as much.

“Of course, that side motion with my arm is why all of the pictures look like punches were flying,” she writes. “They totally weren’t! I just wanted him and his camera out of my face.”

Jenner concluded her post by emphasizing that “violence is never my thing” and adding:

“I get that [the paparazzi] have a job to do, too – but I’d love it if they gave me a break every now and then!”

Bristol Palin: Read Her Heartbreaking Texts to Ex Dakota Meyer

They called off their wedding in 2015, roughly six months before their daughter, Sailor was born in December.

Now, Dakota Meyer is fighting for a custody agreement with Bristol Palin that will allow him to see his daughter more frequently.

Daily Mail obtained text messages (published for court records) between Palin and Meyer, who served in the Marines, in which the Alaska native wanted her ex to see Sailor more regularly.

“I want you to be a part of her life, from the bottom of my heart I do,” Palin wrote. “There’s nothing on my end holding you back Dakota.  I want you (and your family) to be in her life as much as possible. It’s not about us, and I don’t care if you hate me, put it aside and put her first.”

“I don’t hate you Bristol,” Meyer responded.  “I have no reason too [sic] but my hands are tied when I legally have no right to a child that is mine.”

Meyer, who had to undergo a paternity test when he filed for joint custody and child support, is trying to move things along so that he can see his daughter.

His visitations, however, are limited since Palin is breastfeeding the infant, and the court rules in the mother’s favor since it’s in Sailor’s best interest.

“Yea i don’t want to miss anything either and being busy will never be what keeps me from seeing Sailor,” Meyer wrote to her in another exchange.  

“Hopefully everything gets worked out soon and I can be in her life.”

Meyer will see his daughter for the first time on March 19th, according to court records.

Jade Roper Reveals Teenage Rape: Read Her Message

Jade Roper has taken to Instagram in order to open up about the most personal and harrowing of experiences:

She was raped as a teenager.

The former reality star – who advanced to the final four on The Bachelor last year and who then appeared on Bachelor in Paradise – wrote Monday night that she was inspired to come forward after watching Lady Gaga’s performance at the 2016 Oscars.

In the telecast’s most moving moment, the artist sang “Til It Happens to You” while surrounded by victims of sexual assault.

“I’ve been trying for hours to think of what to say here, typing and back spacing,” Roper started her social media post by writing.

She then found the courage.

“To be honest, I’m terrified. Yet, this is something I felt was put on my heart to write and to share and after all these years allow myself to be free of something I felt had to hide.

“Lady GaGa’s performance was powerful and really moved me…Hopefully sharing my story can help others as much as it is helping me heal. Much love.”

Roper, who got married to Tanner Tolbert in a ceremony that aired on ABC this past Valentine’s Day, proceeded to offer a few details.

“I was raped just shy of my 17th birthday. My high school years were very hard for me, I had a lot of problems at home; and the way I tried to be normal and forget about my life was to party with my friends.”

She continued:

“It has been a long road to healing for me. There’s still a long way to go. I am not chained to this experience, it doesn’t have to control my life. I am unafraid of the feedback anymore.

“This happened to me and it matters. I matter. And I am worthy of love.”

Yes, you are, Jade.

Roper concluded as follows:

The Lady Gaga performance gave me the courage to speak about my story, a story that’s been trapped inside me for over 12 years. I hope that sharing my experience will help girls and women know that they are not alone.

And that you have to voice things in order for things to change. And always always always: You matter.

Dawn Scott"s Death: Read Kimberly Matthers" Heartbreaking Reaction

The untimely passing of Eminem’s sister-in-law has left her loved ones devastated, no more so than her sister, Kim Mathers.

Though Kim and Dawn shared a complicated past due to Dawn’s drug use, she’s still reeling from the loss.

“Dawn was my sweet,beautiful sister who lost her way,” Mathers wrote on the funeral home’s website, where loved ones are invited to leave a message for the deceased.

I kept a light lit for her hoping she’d find her way back to me. I miss her and love her more than anything I could ever say. I wish she was here so I could hug her and tell her I love her.”

“Half of me is gone and I will never feel whole again,” Mathers continued.  “She made me laugh and kept me on my toes.

“She was the best sister and friend in the world and I will miss her until we are together again.”

Scott’s biological daughter, Alaina (whom Eminem adopted) tweeted about the news on January 21st.

According to police reports, Scott was found “slumped over in bed and unresponsive,” in her Macomb County, Michigan home.

“It’s suspected to be drug use, possibly heroin,” Warren, Michigan’s Mayor James Fouts told People.

Scott’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Les Martin spoke about the severity of her addiction.

“Heroin, cocaine, Adderall. If it was a pill, she would take it,” Martin told Radar Online.

“Klonopin were her downfall. She was swallowing them things like candy.”

Celebrities Read Mean Tweets, Take 9!

A new horde of celebrities have agreed to read mean Tweets about themselves for a national television audience.

In this latest edition of the beloved Jimmy Kimmel Live segment, featured stars include Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sean Penn, Liv Tyler, Elizabeth Banks, Daniel Radcliffe, Kirsten Dunst and Viola Davis.

As numerous other actors, actresses and singers have done in the past, these famous people simply sit in front of a wall and, well… read mean Tweets about themselves out loud.

It"s simple and yet it"s hilarious, especially when Louis-Dreyfus agrees to "retire" because someone says her "50-year old ass" should do so.

Or when Sean Penn learns he is "full of farts."

Or when Liv Tyler comes across a very creative insult about her father.

Or when Elizabeth Banks is told, quite simply, that she"s a "whore" or when someone dares to call Radcliffe as ugly as an aardvark.

Some other Twitter user is really bothered by Kirsten Dunst’s teeth, while another thinks Julianna Margulies is mighty fine… for an ugly woman.

Bravo to these celebrities for their willingness to laugh over their critics.

And bravo to those critics for hiding behind their computer and writing such ridiculously awesome things about people they do not know.

Country Music Stars Read Mean Tweets, Crack Us Up

Jimmy Kimmel got involved with some cross-promotion on ABC last night.

Soon after the 2015 Country Music Awards aired on that network, the talk show host treated viewers to another edition of celebrities reading mean Tweets about themselves.

This time, however, only country music stars were invited to read really cruel stuff aloud to the studio audience and millions watching at home.

There was Carrie Underwood, for example, laughing over @thainfamous 365 writing about her:

“Didn’t really like da carrie underwood concert seem do dull it had no excitement bring bcd da soccer team.”

Ouch! We guess! Good luck making sense of that message.

Darius Rucker also proved to be a good sport, sharing a Twitter user’s criticism that read: “Some of my best friends are black but Darrius rucker sucks ass.”

According to a Tim McGraw critic, meanwhile, the artist’s new song was more embarrassing than one’s mother finding one’s penis pump, to which McGraw shot back to the user:

“Reggie, you need to move out, man!”

Even Willie Nelson got in on the Mean Tweets act, going over out a message that suggested marijuana clearly works wonders because Nelson is still alive and he simply won"t die.

"You got it!" he replied, with a big, knowing grin on his face.

As for what made Rascal Flatts laugh uncontrollably? As for who else was the target of pointed, misspelled criticism?

At the moment he is training in Stratford and focusing on competitions to prepare for Rio at the start of August. Training has always come first for him. Once Rio is out of the way, they will properly plan the wedding.”

Well that makes sense. Now we have ANOTHER reason to look forward to next year’s Olympics! LOLz!

Though there is a significant age gap between the 21-year-old and the 41-year-old, we think these two could make it past industry standards.

In his viral video, he explained:

“In spring this year my life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy.”

Bobby Brown Believes Nick Gordon Is To Blame For Bobbi Kristina"s Death — Read His Latest Statement HERE!

In a new statement made through his lawyer on Monday, Bobby Brown is making it crystal clear that Nick Gordon is to blame for his daughter’s tragic passing.

And this is just two days after it was revealed Bobbi’s cause of death has been determined!

We doubt that’s a coincidence!

On behalf of Bobby, his lawyer shared:

“In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon. Mr. Gordon made headlines when he filed his Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit pending in Superior Court that seeks to hold him responsible for 40 Million Dollars in damages. However, the Motion was frivolous and instead of having it heard by the Court, he has chosen to withdraw the Motion, ending that matter so that he could avoid having to give his deposition which was scheduled for the day he withdrew the Motion. Mr. Gordon will now have to give his deposition under oath. I am not shocked at the withdrawal, as we must keep in mind that Gordon filed a lawsuit to remove Bobby Brown as Bobbi Kristina’s guardian, only to withdraw that lawsuit in DeKalb County Probate Court once he was served with a deposition notice. He could have pressed forward with that lawsuit and told us under oath what he believed happened to Bobbi Kristina, but he chose to go in another direction.”

To refresh your memory, Bobbi’s estate filed a $ 40 million lawsuit against Nick, alleging that not only did he get violent with her, but even stole her money while she was in a coma.

So now it sounds like they definitely have their suspicions about why Nick won’t give a deposition. Bobby’s lawyer also continued:

“I look forward to having the Court hear the evidence in the civil lawsuit and hopefully the criminal action very soon.”

Wow.

Well, we’re just glad this investigation is being taken seriously, and depending on how it plays out, Nick might just have to give his deposition under oath.
