Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston: Fighting Over The Emmys???

Taylor Swift fans and trolls alike have assumed that she would accompany boyfriend Tom Hiddleston to the Emmy Awards on September 18th.

As the saying goes, “to assume is to make an ass out of u and me.”

Hiddleston is nominated for Lead Actor In A Limited Series or Movie for his role in The Night Manager, a critically-acclaimed miniseries co-starring Hugh Laurie.

Swift has never walked the red carpet with a boyfriend, and according to a source, doesn’t plan on starting anytime soon.

‘Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private,” the source told the Daily Mail.

“Tom’s need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable.

“She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons.”

And here we thought she would be pumped to attend the Emmy Awards as a supportive girlfriend, but after flaunting their relationship over July 4th weekend, Swift might be singing a different tune.

Swift and Hiddleston’s relationship (fauxmance, whatever you’d like to call it) has been the source of tabloid fodder all summer, especially since it appeared to staged at first.

The two were reportedly set up by their PR teams after the MET Ball in May, and before you know it, they’re making out by the ocean and taking a romanitc trip to Italy.

It was weird.  No one was buying it.

On the Fourth, things got even weirder when Hiddleston proudly wore an “I Heart T.S.” tank top while splashing around in the waves.

Hiddleston, however, wanted to set the record straight, and did so during an Emmy nominations interview on July 14th.

“Well, um. How best to put this?” Hiddleston said while on the phone with The Hollywood Reporter.

“That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”

Fast-forward a few months, and Hiddleston is feeling like a “glorified escort,” according to Radar Online.

“It’s become a total charade. Tom is just done with it,” a source told the site.

“It bothers him so much that they’ve become known as this fauxmance laughing stock.”

Will Swift join her glorified escort on the red carpet come September 18th?

Viola Davis Admits To Ellen DeGeneres That She Freaked Out Her Husband With Her Historic Emmys Speech — Watch HERE!

Say what?

At the Emmys on Sunday, Viola Davis became the first black woman to win the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a drama and as a result, she gave an AH-Mazing speech about equality for black women in Hollywood.

Well when she stopped to talk to Ellen DeGeneres today on her talk show (below), she revealed a bit more about her night!

Video: Ellen & Portia De Rossi Play The Not So Newlywed Game Against Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone!

Not only did she tell Ellen that she drank a bit before the show, but she revealed that her husband was actually shocked by her speech and that he had no idea that she was going to say any of that!

Viola also told the host that she was clueless that she received a standing ovation — because she was distracted by a certain fast food that was just off stage!

Jeffrey Tambor Talks Winning Big At The Emmys, Representing The Transgender Community, & Jimmy Kimmel Eating His Name!

Jeffrey Tambor won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series — at least that’s what Jimmy Kimmel said!

The late night host was presenting the award Sunday night when he chewed up the envelope containing the winner’s name!

Photos: All The Best Highlights From The 2015 Emmys!

After his win for playing a transgender woman on Amazon‘s groundbreaking series Transparent, the 71-year-old was okay with not having evidence to support his win — he was more worried about Jimmy!

He said:

“Well Jimmy Kimmel did this business about eating the ballot or whatever, and I wondered if there were emergency services here.”

Or maybe they should start serving food at these award shows? LOLz!

The Arrested Development star said the award represents more than just his win, specifically praising the transgender community. He said:

“It was quite a moment, but it was great. I’m not shy and bashful about holding this up because this is bigger than me, and it represents what Amazon has done, and what the transgender community is doing, and what our show is about. And we are the little engine that could. I hope more people watch it and get to experience this revolution.”

Tambor also reflected on his touching acceptance speech in which he dedicated his award to the trans community, which has become increasingly more visible over the past few years. He added:

“I know that we are in the comedy category, but I do believe with our stories and our humor, we are moving the whole question forward. But when I got up in the morning, or the evening, or when I go through my dressing room door, I go, ‘I’ve got to do this right.’ I’m a cisgender male, I’ve been given one of the biggest responsibilities. I always thought acting was this, and I always thought there was teaching in the laugh and in humor, and with the laughter and with real humor you can kill the prejudice and keep it far away.”

We congratulate the actor for his award, and all the positive awareness Transparent is spreading!

Dave Grohl -- Claims Emmys Pulled Plug on Foo Fighters (VIDEO)

Z STAFF

Dave Grohl is annoyed at the very least and more likely pissed the Emmys booked the Foo Fighters to perform and then cancelled.

The group actually won 2 Creative Arts Emmys earlier this month for their HBO docuseries “Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways.” Dave was a no-show for Sunday night’s ceremony, and it’s apparent why.

Dave says some research will reveal the reason behind their cancellation, but we couldn’t find anything.

Andy Samberg Hosts the Emmys: His Best Jokes!

We"ve already covered the 2015 Emmy Awards winners.

We"ve also recounted the most memorable moments and the fashion hits/misses.

So, what"s left? A critique of the host, of course. Here"s a look at Andy Samberg"s best quotes, jabs and zingers:

1. A Strong Opening:

A strong opening

“Justin Timberlake is not coming,” Samberg said right off the bat, likely letting millions of people down but also acknowleding the popularity of his good friend and frequent collaborator.

2. A Dirty Impression:

A dirty impression

Just Google “Girls” and “Allison Williams” and “ass eating” if you don’t get this joke. Maybe don’t do so in front of your boss.

3. On Shows That Went Off the Air This Year:

“And we also said goodbye to True Detective even though it’s still on the air.” ZING! (Also: true!)

4. On the Futuristic Set:

On the futuristic set

“Not totally sure whether to host the show or get the Sports Almanac back from Biff.” That’s a Back to the Future joke, kids.

5. Oh, He Went There!

Oh he went there

“I have to say, I’m so honored to join the proud ranks of past Emmy hosts. Incredible, legendary people like Robert Blake and Bill Cosby . . . oh no, I gotta get outta here.” We have nothing to add to this.

6. What a Hamm

What a hamm

We’ll see Jon Hamm again, Samberg assured us, prefacing this joke with a reference to Better Call Saul: “I’m sure Jon will be nominated for the upcoming prequel, Dick Whitman, Horny Hobo.”

15 Great and Not-So-Great Moments from the 2015 Emmys

Game of Thrones made history. And so did Viola Davis.

Andy Samberg made us laugh. And Tracy Morgan made us cry.

Let"s rundown the best, worst and overall most memorable moments from the 2015 Emmy Awards, shall we?

1. The Opening Number

The opening number

There’s too much television! Andy Samberg opened the show with a song that focused on this topic and included cameos by Will Forte, Jon Hamm, Kerry Washington and Nathan Fillion, who mocked his own show.

2. Nun’s the Word!

Nuns the word

Jane Lynch made a funny appearance as the mean nun from Game of Thrones, who Samberg said would chant people with long speeches off stage. Shame, shame, shame…

3. Amy Poehler Does Win!

Amy poehler does win

No, never for Parks and Recreation somehow. But for always doing stuff like this and for being amazing.

4. And The Best Joke of the Night Goes To…

And the best joke of the night goes to

“Paula Deen is on this season of Dancing With the Stars,” Samberg said in his monologue. “But I have to say, if I wanted to see an intolerant lady dance, I could’ve gone to one of Kim Davis’ four weddings.”

5. A Shocking Return

We did not expect to see Tracy Morgan on stage 15 months after a car accident nearly took his life. But this speec made us laugh and cry.

6. For Lorne

For lorne

Seth Meyers and Andy Samberg spent way too long on an unfunny bit about how Lorne Michaels deserves a World’s Best Boss mug.

Tracy Morgan Makes Emotional Speech at 2015 Emmys

Tracy Morgan practically stole the show at the 2015 Emmy Awards.

The actor surprised viewers by coming out to present the award for Best Drama Series (to Game of Thrones), 15 months after being involved in a horrific car accident.

It caused brain damage to the star and left him in a coma for eight months.

"Last year, Jimmy Kimmel said on stage, "I"ll see you next year,"" Morgan said. "Thanks to my doctors and my beautiful wife, I"m here… standing on my own two feet."

Morgan then added a couple jokes, noticeable bringing a tear to Tina Fey in the audience:

"Only recently have I started to feel like my self again," he said, which means "a lot of the women gonna get pregnant at the after party."

In June of 2014, Morgan was placed in critical condition after the car in which he was a passenger got hit on the highway by a truck.

Tracy Morgan made his first big public appearance since his accident last June … presenting the award for Best Drama Series at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards.

Morgan spoke from the heart — thanking his family and doctors — and even cracked a few jokes as only he can.

The “30 Rock” star was in a coma for eight days following a car accident on June 7, 2014 when his vehicle was struck by a trailer operated by Walmart.

Since his recovery, Morgan has settled his lawsuit against Walmart, got married, and will host “Saturday Night Live” next month.
