Nun Fires Perfect First Pitch Strike, Leaves Internet in Awe
It"s official.
In case there was any doubt before, all debate has now been put to rest:
Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago is a better pitcher than 50 Cent.
As proven in THIS CLIP, the rapper is on record as having thrown the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history.
So, in that sense, the perfect strike tossed by Sister Mary in the video featured here did not have a high bar to clear in order to be placed higher than 50 Cent"s attempt many years ago.
But this awe-inspiring nun didn"t just head out to the mound on Saturday and barely manage to get the baseball over the plate.
No.
First, she did a little trick with the ball in her hand and then she threw what can just be described as an ideal 12-6 curveball, one that would have fooled even Aaron Judge or Mike Trout.
It floated right down into the catcher"s mitt in the heart of the strike zone when all was said, done and applauded.
Sister Mary was called upon to make this ceremonial first pitch in Chicago, prior to yet another White Sox loss.
They fell to the Royals by a score of 3-1 after the nun left the mound.
With a record of 45-77, it"s pretty clear the White Sox could use Mary Jo Sobieck on their roster.
Maybe not as a starter. Her arm might lack the stamina to go six or seven innings.
But as a late-inning reliever?
Someone to come in for a batter or two and disrupt the opposing team"s rhythm?
Someone ordained by God, no less?!?
Sign her up, Sox!

Brad Pitt Fires Back at Angelina Jolie, Accuses Ex of Media Manipulation
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are, objectively, two of the best looking people on the planet.
It is therefore ironic that their divorce proceedings have taken a turn for the very very ugly.
On Tuesday afternoon, Jolie raised the stakes in her legal battle against Pitt by filing court documents that accused the actor of basically stiffing her out of child support payments.
Despite the stars not even having a formal financial arrangement in regard to their six children, an attorney for Jolie said in a two-page brief that Pitt “has paid no meaningful child support since separation.”
She added that her famous client intends to file for the “establishment of a retroactive child support order.”
This is a pretty damning accusation, as it managed to paint Pitt as both a bad father and as a cheapskate.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that Pitt has now fired back.
HARD.
On Wednesday, Pitt detailed (through his own set of legal papers) how he lent Jolie approximately $ 8 million to help her purchase her current house.
He also says he paid more than $ 1.3 million in bills for the benefit of her and their kids: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
In full, Pitt’s response reads as follows:
“There is no need for a Case Management Conference to schedule a hearing or filing deadlines regarding child support.
“[Pitt] adamantly disputes the contention that he has not paid significant child support.
“[Pitt] has previously loaned [Jolie] $ 8 million to assist her in purchasing her current residence and has paid over $ 1.3 million in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children.”
Aside from this rundown, however, Pitt’s attorney also said Jolie’s filing is “unnecessary, omits material information and is a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage.”
Like we said, things have turned very ugly.
And also very personal.
Jolie alleges to have proof that Pitt is an unfit father, but we have yet to see it.
Some have argued for some time now that Jolie is simply trying to make her estranged husband look as terrible as possible in order to win full custody of her kids.
This allegation goes way back to when Pitt was investigated by the FBI for an alleged altercation between himself and his teenage son Maddox right around the time the stars separated in September 2016.
The actor was never found to have acted illegally or inappropriate, not in any official manner.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt nearly two years ago, citing irreconcilable differences.
The split seemed relatively calm and amicable for awhile, most notably just this past June when Jolie and Pitt reached a new temporary custody agreement.
It laid out all of the dates during the summer that the actor will have custody of the six kids.
A spokesperson for the actress released a statement shortly afterward which aimed to dispel the notion that Jolie was trying to paint Pitt with a negative brush in the press.
“From the start, Angelina has been focused only on [the kids’] health and needs, which is why it was so important that this last court hearing be conducted privately,” this statement, in regard to leaks, read.
It concluded:
“It’s deplorable that someone, for their own selfish reasons, leaked selective portions of the confidential and sealed court record to create an inaccurate and unfair picture of what is really happening.”
SIGH.
We’re not even trying to take sides here.
We just think it’s very depressing that it has come to this for the couple formerly known as Brangelina, don’t you?

Kailyn Lowry FIRES Teen Mom 2 Producer: He Set Me Up to Get My Ass Kicked!
If you"re a longtime Teen Mom 2 viewer, then you"re probably familiar with JC Cueva.
Cueva has been embedded in Delaware as Kailyn Lowry"s producer since 2016.
Unfortunately, it seems his days as head of the show"s Kailyn unit has come to an end, and it was none other than Kail herself who kicked Cueva to the curb.
Yes, according to The Ashley"s Reality Roundup, Lowry fired Cueva after accusing him of being more concerned with his job than with her safety.
It all played out during last night"s drama-packed Teen Mom 2 reunion, and the situation highlights just how upset Kail was over what went down.
1. Angry Kail
If you watched Monday’s reunion special, you know that it was quite a stressful night for Ms. Lowry.
2. Multiple Confrontations
Kail nearly came to blows with Briana DeJesus on more than one occasion. Both times, security guards prevented the ladies from actually pummeling each other.
3. In Harm’s Way
Though she escaped the evening without any injuries (though she did get her hair pulled by Britanny DeJesus) Kail apparently felt that producers didn’t do enough to keep her safe.
4. Pre-Show Drama
According to The Ashley, Kail was already less than thrilled with Cueva as “JC had some drama with one of Kail’s friends” during a previous taping session.
5. JC Ya Later
Little is known about that incident, but it reportedly made Kail “uncomfortable” working with Cueva.
6. Lashing Out
The situation came to a head after the second of Kail and Bri’s two on-set confrontations, as Lowry felt that Cueva intentionally put her in harm’s way.

Kim Kardashian Gets Body-Shamed By Tyson Beckford, Fires Back With Homophobic Insult
It’s one of the most random celebrity feuds in recent memory, and it’s got Twitter divided as to how far is too far when one is clapping back at a hater.
It all started when Tyson Beckford commented on an Instagram photo that showed Kim Kardashian walking into Jimmy Kimmel’s studio for an appearance on his show earlier this week.
“Sorry I don’t care for it personally,” he commented, as though anyone had asked his opinion.
“She is not real, doctor f–ked up on her right hip.”
Now, Kim has been denying plastic surgery rumors for the entirety of her career, so it’s not surprising that she took issue with Beckford’s remark.
It is surprising, however, that she chose to malign a marginalized segment of the population in her rebuttal.
“Sis we all know why you don’t care for it,” Kim replied on Instagram.
Just in case there was any confusion with regard to her intentions, Kim made added the usual shade-throwing emojis:
A brush painting fingernails, a frog, a tea cup — all combining to evoke the image of a bitchy Kermit cutting his critics down to size with a single offhand remark.
Generally, those who stand up to online bullies are applauded for their courage.
But Kim’s comment has raised some serious concerns.
Obviously, she’s implying that Beckford is not interested in her sexually because he’s gay.
Setting aside the troublingly hubristic assumption that if someone doesn’t want to bed you, it must be because of their sexual orientation, it’s problematic that Kim seems to think that accusing Beckford of being a closeted gay man amounts to an insult.
Beckford addressed Kim’s comments in an Instagram story, but opted not to remark on the allegations of homophobia.
“Despite what @TheShadeRoom might be tryna say, my opinion on women who do plastic surgery stays the same, not for me!
“I personally don’t care for it! End of story.”
Just in case anyone doubted that he’s an incredible douche bag, Beckford added:
“Always gonna pick a Beyonce over anyone else.”
Yes, it’s one of those sad situations in which both parties come away looking like jerks.
Obviously, there’s a debate to be had over who comes off worse here.
But the fact that both Kim and Tyson have a whole lot of growing up to do is inarguable.

Demi Lovato: Fires More Staff, Shudders Website Amidst Relapse Drama
It’s been three weeks since the world learned that Demi Lovato relapsed after six years of sobriety, and it seems the recovery process has been a long and difficult one for the troubled pop songstress.
To her credit, it wasn’t the tabloids that publicized her latest struggles with substance abuse but Demi herself.
In June, she released the song “Sober,” which detailed her fall from the wagon with heartbreaking and surprisingly personal lyrics.
Unfortunately, the release of the song did not signal the start of Demi’s long road back to sobriety, as many had hoped.
Instead, those who know her best say Lovato is still drinking and has no immediate plans to get clean.
“Demi has gone off the rails,” a source tells Radar Online.
Equally troubling is the fact that the singer has reportedly been severing ties with those who wish to help her.
Demi fired her manager earlier this week, and it seems she’s ended her relationship with several other staffers in the days that followed.
“She’s completely dropped her family members, friends and everyone in the sober community, including all of the people at CAST [Demi’s former recovery program],” the source claimed.
“And now she is cutting off her staff who have worked with her forever.”
As Radar reports, Lovato also shut down her website earlier this week.
The site is now back up and running, but the hiatus left many with the impression that Demi is badly in need of some time away from the spotlight.
The fact that Lovato is cashing in on her relapse by actively promoting “Sober” on her social media pages has led some to label her a hypocrite:
“She is making money off her relapse,” says the insider.
“But she is a walking contradiction, because she is does not have a game plan to get clean right now.”
Friends and family already staged an informal intervention, but sadly, it seems their concerns fell on deaf ears.
“[They] suggested to her that she should get some help and go to rehab,” the source claims.
Clearly, Demi didn’t heed that advice.
On social media, Lovato has been the subject of a massive outpouring of concern, but unlike in years past, she seems to have little interest in communicating directly with fans.
Here’s hoping she’s able to find the help she needs before it’s too late.

Demi Lovato Fires Manager, Raises Concerns About Sobriety
Demi Lovato may have just given fans yet another cause for concern.
Just a few weeks after the beloved singer admitted to having relapsed, following six-plus years of sobriety, Lovato has gone ahead and taken an unexpected step in her professional life.
According to Radar Online, Lovato just fired her long-time manager, Phil McIntyre, doing so “in the middle of her tour” because, this insider says, “she wanted to go in a different direction and decided to completely severe ties with him.”
This move could be interpreted in multiple ways, of course.
It may be a sign that Demi’s downward spiral is not over yet.
McIntyre has been by Lovato’s side for a lengthy period of time, overseeing a very successful music career, making many wonder why the artist would choose the aforementioned different direction.
Hadn’t her career under McIntyre been headed in a very positive one?
But there’s a flip side to this decision, as well. There’s a more positive way to look at Demi’s move.
She clearly laments having fallen off the wagon and, we sincerely hope, is looking to get right back on it again.
She wants to live a clean life and is “focused on surrounding herself with positivity and accountability,” as the Radar Online source describes it.
Neither Lovato nor McIntyre has acknowledged the rumors of their split, but it comes not long after Lovato also cut ties with her rehabilitation and recovery business, CAST Center.
“They are in a bitter dispute over money and branding,” a source told Radar.
Darn. This makes us feel terrible for Lovato.
It can’t be easy to rebuild one’s personal life when one’s professional life is also a mess.
In June, Lovato released “Sober,” a heartbreaking singler featuring lyrics that seemed to confirm that she had relapsed after six years of sobriety.
“Mama, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore/And Daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor/To the ones who never left me/We’ve been down this road before/ I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore,” she sings on the track.
Heartbreaking, isn’t it?
No one can almost ever say for certain what causes an addict to revert to his or her old and dangerous ways.
But reports indicated that Lovato fell into trouble once again about two months ago.
“She stopped the accountability portion of her recovery,” is how one person explained it, with another going so far as to say Lovato “fell off the rails.”
We also heard late last month that Demi started drinking again, not doing drugs, which is maybe a silver lining.
As Lovato has openly discussed in the past, she was into cocaine and other hard drugs during her teenage years.
We can only sit back now and wish Lovato the best.
We hope she has the proper support system in place and we hope she knows how much we love and admire her.

Bill Cosby Fires His Entire Legal Team; What"s His Game?
As we all know, Bill Cosby is super guilty. By which we mean that he was found guilty by a jury of his peers for multiple counts in the 2004 sexual assault against Andrea Constand.
He is due to be sentenced in three months … but he has fired his entire high-profile legal team.
What is he thinking?
Bill Cosby still has three months to go before he is sentenced for all three counts of aggrivated indecent assault of Andrea Constand.
He remains under house arrest until that time.
It is quite the surprise to learn that he has dismissed his press-friendly attorney, Tom Mesereau, whom he brought on board to defend him in 2017.
Mesereau is famous for having defended Michael Jackson, but his courtroom strategy wasn’t enough to hoodwink the jury.
Perhaps Cosby is unwilling to continue paying the man who failed to get him an acquittal.
Cosby isn’t going to represent himself at his two-day sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for September 24-25.
He has instead hired Pennsylvania attorney Joseph P. Green Jr. to fulfill that role.
Green is an established lawyer, but not nearly as high-profile as Cosby’s previous representation.
It may be that Cosby simply wants an attorney but is no longer willing to shell out big bucks for high priced representation for another three months — not if he doesn’t believe that it will change anything at his sentencing.
Some have wondered if he may be hoping that, by acquiring a new attorney, the date of his sentencing hearing might be pushed back.
Cosby is 80 years old, and will be 81 after his July 12 birthday.
Some wonder if, comfortable while under house arrest, he is pushing to delay his incarceration as long as possible.
As we said, some find this move surprising, but it is actually consistent with Cosby’s recent history with attorneys.
In July of 2017, Cosby’s jury deadlocked the first time around.
After that mistrial was declared, Cosby fired his attorneys Brian McMonagle and Angela Agrusa in order to hire Mesereau.
As a result, his new trial date was pushed back from the autumn of 2017 to the spring of 2018.
The #MeToo movement began later in 2017, making millions of people more aware that yes, sometimes the people who seem nice on camera are actually sex monsters who’ve gotten away with it all for years.
In fact, potential jurors had months to soak in story after story about famous, seemingly charming men who terrorized women and used their wealth and influence to cover it up.
In light of that, many wonder if Cosby wishes that his second trial had been much, much earlier.
But this new shift in his legal representation might might that he ends up pushing his sentencing another few months. Perhaps all of the way to 2019.
It is difficult to tell if this is part of a legal strategy, though.
McMonagle and Agrusa themselves had replaced his previous attorney, Marty Singer, in 2015.
Maybe Cosby is just being grouchy or quickly grows dissatisfied with his attorneys.
It is very difficult to tell what exactly is going on in that man’s mind right now.
Aside from, one assumes, fear.
Some rumors suggest that Cosby may need another attorney for a very different courtroom in the near future.
Is Camille Cosby planning to divorce him?
In public, his wife says that his conviction was “mob justice” and somehow the fault of racism.
12 jurors of his peers doesn’t sound much like “mob justice” to us.
And if racism was at play behind that guilty verdict, then why didn’t the jury in 2017 convict?
But if she is privately planning to leave him, he could find himself facing off in two court battles at the same time.
Would he retain a divorce attorney for any longer than he holds onto defense attorneys?
Who knows, with that guy.
