Steve Bannon Steps Down From Breitbart to Spend More Time With Bottle of Gin
Throughout Donald Trump’s unexpected ascendancy from walking punchline to walking punchline with nuke codes, political strategist and oily sack of potatoes discovered in the back of the cupboard on moving day Steve Bannon was one of the president’s most trusted and influential advisers.
Of course, Trump aides have proven to have roughly the same shelf life as Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers at Hogwarts, so it came as no surprise when Bannon was booted from the White House back in August.
What followed, however, was an unexpectedly abrupt downfall befitting a man who once favorably compared himself to Darth Vader and Satan.
Bannon delivered that quote to The Hollywood Reporter’s Michael Wolff, who’s made headlines this week thanks to his controversial book Fire and Fury, which details his experiences inside the Trump White House.
In the most widely-circulated passage, Wolff reveals that Bannon described a 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort and group of influential Russians as “treasonous.”
Bannon later attempted to walk back his remark, claiming that he only meant to label disgraced campaign manager Manafort as a traitor, not the president’s son.
However, the damage had been done, and Bannon soon found himself atop the Donald’s ever-lengthening sh-t list.
Of course, falling out of favor with the human throbbing forehead vein that occupies the White House means that Bannon has also lost the support of his army of alt-right trolls, and the race to cut ties with the man once dubbed the most powerful figure in American politcs began in earnest this week.
Yesterday, Bannon was unceremoniously axed from his position as head of far-right media outlet Breitbart News.
“Breitbart News has decided to end its relationship with Stephen K. Bannon, therefore he will no longer host on SiriusXM since our programming agreement is with Breitbart News,” reads a statement posted on the company’s flagship website.
Bannon attemptes to downplay the termination and paint it as a mutual decision, but there’s no denying that it’s a socking fall from grace for a man who was frequently referred to as “President Bannon” just a few short months ago.”
“I’m proud of what the Breitbart team has accomplished in so short a period of time,” Bannon said in response to his dismissal.
The move came as a surprise even to many within Breitbart, who reportedly learned of Bannon’s departure in the company’s Slack chat.
As recently as last month, the company was still publicly praiaing Bannon’s influence on modern conservatism and crediting him with helping to shape the 2016 presidential election via as host of his own satellite radio show.
“As I have said all along, everything I brought to the Trump campaign came directly from the listeners I spoke with every morning on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel,” Bannon said at the time.
A spokesperson for Breitbart has confirmed that Bannon will no longer serve as host of the outler’s popular call-in show.
No replacement has been announced, but at press time, the racist blowhard who’s always drinking alone at your local dive bar was still available for the position.

Farrah Abraham: I Got Face Fillers Just in Time for My Strip Club Show!
In preparation for hosting a bash at a strip club, Farrah Abraham asked for a vajazzling kit and also some neon panties on top of her appearance fee, because of course she did.
But she"s also prepping for the show by getting dermal fillers, which is when they inject stuff under the skin of your face.
And, Farrah being Farrah, she"s posted a video, which you can see below. Fair warning: it"s not for the faint of heart.
Do you guys know what vajazzling is?
No, it is not the art of playing saxophone through your vagina, but honestly the word "jazz" is right there in the name so that"s a great guess.
Vajazzling is a portmanteau of "vagina" and "bedazzle," and refers to adhering crystal jewelry to your (shaved) pubic mound.
You know how sequins can look neat on, like, a prom dress or whatever?
It"s like that, except tiny crystals, and they"re all scattered around (well, above, mostly) somebody"s vulva.
Well, Farrah Abraham is hosting Crazy Horse III"s XXXMas Party in Vegas, which is very nearly peak Farrah Abraham.
And she asked for a vajazzling kit in preparation. But that"s not all that she"s doing to get ready.
In the video that you"ll see below, Farrah Abraham is getting dermal filler injections.
She uploaded the video with the caption:

In a normal world, where product endorsements or flagrant self-promotion were more conversational, Farrah would have just tweeted: Melanie did a great job giving me dermal fillers and I"m excited for my Vegas gig.
Instead, she has more hashtags than any one Instagram post could ever need, all in exchange for what we assume must have been a hefty discount (if not making it outright free or paying her) at the face-stabbing clinic she visited.
Wouldn"t it be weird if Farrah were fake-fired for doing sex work, only to be actually fired for lashing out at MTV and Viacom in a totally bonkers word salad?
Because she"s been doing a lot of that, biting the Teen Mom hand that fed her for most of the last decade.
And she"s been doubling down on her sex work, promoting her lingerie products and also
Personally, we don"t understand why so many companies are enjoying partnering with her, but then, we don"t understand why Farrah masturbating on camera garnered so many views, either.
To be clear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sex work. We don"t know how Farrah"s drama with MTV will ultimately end, but no one should be shamed for doing any form of sex work — least of all that which is legal.
Farrah has a whole host of actual bad qualities, including racist outbursts and using her young daughter"s Twitter account to promote porn.
There"s plenty to criticize without attacking sex work itself.
As we mentioned, the video itself shows Farrah getting dermal fillers.
And … also like we said, it"s really not for the faint of heart.
First of all, it features blood and needles. There are people who pass out in the presence of either.
And second of all … well, you picture somebody"s face getting filled and it just makes you squirm. I"m not anti-cosmetic treatments or anything, but it"s weird for someone so young to undergo so many.
Still, compared to Farrah sharing her vaginal rejuvenation treatments, a few pokes in the face aren"t really a big deal.

Demi Lovato Slams Time Magazine for Honoring Donald Trump
Demi Lovato has a few questions for Time Magazine.
But the singer’s issues with the publication can best be summed up by a single inquiry, one comprised of three letters:
WTH?!?
On Wednesday, Time editors declared their Person of the Year to actually be a bunch of brave people.
Referring to the countless women who have comprised the ongoing #MeToo movement, Time recognized the “Silence Breakers” that have spoken out against sexual assault and harassment.
These “Silent Breakers” include stars such as Taylor Swift and Ashley Judd, along with lesser known victims around the country.
Said editor-in-chief Edward in explaining why his magazine made this selection:
“This is the fastest moving social change that we’ve seen in decades and it began with individual acts of courage of hundreds of women, and some men, too, who came forward to tell their own stories of sexual harassment and assault.”
We totally agree.
It’s nearly impossible to find fault in this decision, right?
But here’s the thing:
Donald Trump was named runner-up.
The President (who took home the distinction in 2016) clearly made a huge impact on the world over the past 12 months… but he’s also been accused of sexual assault himself.
But over a dozen women.
So Lovato is curious how and why Time honored victims of sexual misconduct, while also honoring a man who likely committed an assortment of similar crimes.
“I’ve become less vocal about my distain for certain people over the past year because it only divides our country even more but this is worth speaking up about,” Lovato explained in the first of three Tweets on the topic, adding:
“@TIME mag – very disappointed in your hypocrisy and disrespect toward the women on your cover…
“To be named POTY by @TIME it should be for doing something positive or brave LIKE the women on the cover. It’s annoying that it’s just about impact on the news…
“Time mag highlights brave women coming forward against sexual assault on the cover but names a man with sexual assault allegations against him runner up to person of the year..
“Really @TIME? #hypocrites.”
Felsenthal did actually address his reasoning for why Trump earned the number-two spot on his list.
He told Today yesterday morning:
“He’s No. 2 on our list because he has changed the very nature of the presidency and the way the White House functions.
“He is on the verge of a first major legislative victory, he’s reshaping the judiciary [system], and aggressively rolling back regulations. The tweet that he sent wasn’t correct.
“In fact, we did the photo shoot for the reveal we’re about to [show] five days before the tweet. We didn’t say ‘probably,’ but you know how it goes.”
Ah, yes, the Tweet.
Late last month, Trump brought up the Person of the Year debate and Tweeted that the magazine told him he was “probably” going to win.
“But I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot,” he added. “I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway.”
The President was roundly mocked for this lie statement.

Adam Lind: Arrested AGAIN! Is He Facing Prison Time?
If you"re a fan of Teen Mom 2, then you know that of all the bad dads and trashy exes on the long-running series, Adam Lind is the absolute worst.
Lind"s rap sheet rivals that of Jenelle Evans, and it doesn"t look like he"ll be settling down anytime soon.
Last month, Lind was arrested for domestic assault, and now it seems he"s once again been taken into custody.
Here"s what we know so far about the troubled reality star"s current situation:
1. The Charges Against Him
According to Radar Online, Lind was arrested Tuesday night for “violation of conditional bond no contact in domestic arrest.”
2. Lind Behind Bars
Lind is reportedly being held in a South Dakota jail without bond. He’s scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.
3. A History of Legal Issues
Back on November 2, Lind was arrested for allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend Stasia Huber.
4. A Harrowing Account
“While under the influence of drugs, alcohol, and steroids, he fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone and once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER,” Huber said in court documents.
5. Stasia Protects Herself
On November 7, Huber was granted an order of protection against Adam. Unfortunately, it seems that wasn’t enough to keep Lind at bay.
6. A Violation
It’s not clear exactly what Lind did to violate the order–he may have approached her or simply contacted her by phone–but whatever it was, police saw fit to lock him up.

… and the honor goes to a number of very brave people.
Indeed, editors have chosen the entire #MeToo movement as this year"s recipient, singling out a number of women in particular who have spoken out against sexual harassment and misconduct in the workplace.
It has referred to these women as the "Silence Breakers."

1. The #MeToo Movement
“This is the fastest-moving social change we’ve seen in decades, and it began with individual acts of courage by hundreds of women, and some men, who came forward to tell their own stories of sexual harassment and assault,” Time editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal said when making the reveal. “The image you see partially on the cover is of a woman we talked to, a hospital worker in the middle of the country who shared her story with us and some others but doesn’t feel like she can come forward without threatening her livelihood.”
2. Who are the Silence Breakers?
Women the magazine has singled out for their loud and courageous voices during this unique and important time in America. Let’s meet them…
3. Tarana Burke
Burke actually began”Me Too” over a decade ago to assist women, “particularly young women of color from low wealth communities,” who have been sexually abused, assaulted, exploited or harassed.
4. Susan Fowler
The ex-Uber engineer took a major risk in February when she went public with her story of mistreatment at the company. In a blog entry, Fowler showed screenshots of chat messages in which her direct supervisor “was trying to get me to have sex with him” to human resources.
5. Sara Gelser
An Oregon state senator, Gelser detailed in an official complaint filed in November a years-long pattern of unwanted touching and sexual harassment by Senator. Jeff Kruse, emphasizing that at least 15 women have similar experiences. The statehouse launched an investigation and relieved Kruse of his committee assignments as a result.
6. Adama Iwu
A lobbyist for Visa, Iwu said she was groped in front of co-workers and organized an open letter signed by 147 women to call out sexual harassment in California’s state politics. The letter launched a state-senate investigation.
Chester Bennington: On Drugs at Time of Death? Toxicology Report Confuses Fans
Back in July, the music world was stunned by the news that Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington had taken his own life.
Bennington had been open about his struggles with depression and addiction over the years, but friends and family say he showed no outward signs of struggling in the weeks leading up to his death.
Naturally, many questions remain as to what led Bennington to commit suicide on the birthday of his friend Chris Cornell, who had also recently hung himself.
Unfortunately, a toxicology report released this week offers little in the way of answers.
The report reveals that Bennington may have been under the influence of multiple substances at the time of his death.
According to test results obtained by TMZ, Bennington had both alcohol and MDMA in his system
However, the alcohol was detected only in “trace amounts,” and two follow-up tests did not detect any MDMA in Bennington’s system.
Authorities reported finding a bottle of the sleeping medication Zolpidem on Bennington’s dresser, along with an empty beer bottle and a pint glass half-filled with beer.
They also detected pieces of fingernail underneath his iPhone and on a table in his bedroom, but wife Talinda Bennington attributed these findings to a nervous tic of Chester’s.
Needless to say, the reports provide little in the way of closure for Talinda and other loved ones of Chester’s.
At one point, his widow informed authorities that Bennington had attempted to take his own life in 2006 after drinking heavily.
That does seem to be the case here.
The amounts of alcohol found in Bennington’s system were reportedly not enough to have intoxicated a grown man.
The singer was involved in an outpatient rehab program at the time of his death, and one month before his passing, he informed friends that he had been sober for six months.
Those who knew him best will no doubt continue to seek answers, but the fact remains that depression and mental illness are unpredictable and poorly understood.
Tragically, it seems that Bennington simply succumbed to a disease that affects tens of millions of Americans.

With just one episode to go before the midseason finale, The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 7 set the wheels in motion for what is sure to be a doozy of an end.
When the episode got underway, Eugene knew the truth about Dwight’s betrayal but said that he would not reveal the truth to Negan.
In fact, Eugene said that he would keep quiet if Dwight stopped working with the enemy. This confirmed that Eugene was done with his former team.
It’s crazy how one little bit of power can make you become one of the most morally bankrupt characters on TV.
Dwight was not ready to give up and told Eugene the Saviors had already lost the war. This was a tactic to try and get Eugene back on the side of his old people.
Eugene was still very much against flipping on Negan, but Father Gabriel had a word with him about doing what was right. Oh, and Gabriel was dying of infections.
That’s when Negan’s wife, Tanya appeared back in the mix and told Eugene they could still get on board with the plan to off Negan and end the war.
After a somewhat awkward encounter with Negan, the tech wizard had a plan to use a remote control device to take an iPod emitting noise and create a device to lure the walkers away,
Just when it seemed like his plan was working, Dwight appeared with a gun, ready to shoot. Yes, Eugene is in a lot of trouble.
While that was going down, the rest of the heroes were trying to take down the Sanctuary once and for all. They knew that creating an entrance would give the walkers a safe passage to take all of the Saviors down.
As Daryl drove the truck to the Sanctuary, Eugene decided to defy Dwight’s orders and launch the flying object. Dwight shot it down, and the walkers made their way inside.
Eugene then decided he was no longer a prisoner and turned to Negan with yet another plan to save everyone. He just needed Negan’s bullet making equipment to make it a success.
Rick was still in the clutches of the Scavengers. He eventually plucked up the courage to take a walker down, attack one of Jadis’ henchman and even had a tussle with her.
Rick asked Jadis one last time to think about what it would mean to join him and his team. She then decided that she was on Team Rick, but her loyalty is always wavering, so we will see how long she sticks it out.
Rick said that he wanted to be the one to pull the trigger on Negan.
When everyone assembled at the Sanctuary, the walkers were no more. This made Rick (and me!) question what was going on.
